We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and help us support our students' communication needs.
Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with elementary-aged students. The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will implement speech and language therapy programs and create and support students' communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct assessments to identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
● Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
● Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
● Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
● Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate findings with stakeholders.
● Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies.
● Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
● Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
● Valid Indiana state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
● Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
● Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is preferred.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
