Position:Speech and Language Pathologist Location:Stacy Middle School Schedule:2025-2026 School Year - contingent on funding approval Salary:Per Teachers Contract To Start:August 25, 2025 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date 8/19-8/20) Qualifications: ●MA DOE Certification in Speech/Hearing and Language Disorders ●Knowledge of Special Education process and regulations ●Experience with providing Speech and Language services in a public school setting ●Bilingual preferred ●Strong ability to relate and work with the middle school learner ●Ability to incorporate a variety of learning activities/ experiences to inspire, motivate and challenge middle school students ●Excellent technology skills ●SEI training preferred ●Experience working with content colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives ●A positive person, willing to become involved in the academic and social aspects of school life to support student success, school spirit, and school climate and culture ●A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community ●Respect for diversity Duties: ●Provide individual, small group and classroom instruction ●Participate in the IEP Team process in accordance with required timelines and regulations ●Collaborate with staff regarding augmentative communication devices ●Administer/ interpret a variety of diagnostic instruments ●Write and input progress reports, measurable goals and objectives ●Consult with parents ●Consult with and support inclusion staff ●Liaison for students on caseload
