We are seeking a skilled Lead GitLab Engineer to manage and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, repository management, and DevOps workflows.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in using Gitlab end to end.

Location : Hyderabad.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines in Gitlab for all the product lines and for all environments (DEV, QA, UAT and PROD).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Implement and maintain Git source control system.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code.
• Implementation of Azure monitoring and alerting systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, Security policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all processes.
• Knowledge on SAST and DAST tools.
• Good to have knowledge on tools like Sonar Cube, SpotBugs, FindSecBug, ZAP.
• Train and mentor other team members on DevOps best practices.
  
  

Required Experience

• 8-11 years of experience in Software Industry and DevOps.
• Deep understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD setup, daily CI build, CD for build, Notifications,.
• Complete knowledge of Repository setup and management with GIT and Tools like BitBucket/ SourceTree.
• Hands on Knowledge of using Git commands.
• GitLab Practices, tools and Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices of Gitlab.
• In-depth expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure DevOps, AKS, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to design containerized solutions using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools within the Azure ecosystem.
• Understand and set up CI/CD pipeline including Maven for Java, Python and ReactJS applications.
• Experience with version control systems like GitLab.
• Experience in deployment methodologies, processes and automation.
• Automate the build, test, and deployment processes to achieve efficient and reliable software releases.

• Must have worked with US based clients in onsite/off shore delivery model.
• Strong verbal and written communication, technical articulation, listening, and presentation skills are essential.
• Should have proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in prioritization, time management, and stakeholder management (both internal and external) is necessary.
• Should be a quick learner, self-starter, proactive, and an effective team player.
