This role will be based in Hong Kong. As a key member of our growing Data team, you will partner with global and local teams to turn data into actionable insights that accelerate projects and drive business value. You will develop an in-depth understanding of business operations in order to provide the best analysis and tools (reports, dashboards etc) to support decision-making and performance management. In addition, you will design and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and storage solutions to support analytics and reporting at scale.

What you will deliver

• Apply statistical analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from large datasets
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making
• Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL and Python to support analytics and business initiatives
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business trends and market dynamics, presenting findings in a clear and impactful manner
• Implement gamification through Braze to drive client and driver engagement and retention
• Automate reporting and optimize data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
• Design, build and maintain data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve system efficiency
• Document data models, data flows, and pipeline architectures
• Stay up to date with new technologies and recommend tools to improve the data platform

Who you are

• Strong ability to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Selenium
• Ability to translate data findings into meaningful narratives and actionable recommendations
• Excellent communicator in English, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams
• A self-starter with a growth mindset; eager to learn and adopt new technologies to optimize workflows and challenge the status quo
• A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews)
• Prior experience using statistics, predictive modeling, or machine learning to solve business problems and drive revenue growth
