Special Inspector for
immediate Building, Transportation, & Infrastructure Projects within the Five Boroughs of New York City.
Are you ready to take on dynamic challenges in the heart of New York City's construction landscape? We are currently seeking driven and qualified Special Inspectors to join our team for immediate project needs.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architecture
- 3+ years’ experience inspecting construction work in the city of NY, varied in Size and complexity.
- Proficiency with Chapter 17 of the NYC Building Code
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Currently holds a Professional Engineering License (P.E.) in the State of NY or NJ (Civil or Structural)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting construction work in the city of NJ or NY, varied in Size and complexity.
- Familiarity with Chapter 17 of the NYC and International building code.
- Familiarity with Inspecting Pile Installation and Geotechnical Inspections as per the requirements of Chapter 17 of the NYC & International building codes.
- Current training in crucial safety protocols, including fall protection, scaffolding and ladders, work-zone safety,.
- Minimum of 10-hour OSHA construction safety certification.

- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspection reports promptly and accurately
- Possession of a reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to pursue additional certifications to enhance professional skills and expertise
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork as well as the ability to work independently when necessary
- Familiarity with relevant construction industry codes and regulations
Here's a Breakdown Of What We Provide
Hourly Rate:
$60 - $75/hour
