We´re looking for a talented developer with high experience using Apache Spark.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC 100-109 usd hourly & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark

Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

Optimize Spark jobs for performance, including tuning configurations and query optimization.

Strong programming skills in Scala, Java, or Python.

Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, S3, or NoSQL databases

In-depth knowledge of SQL for querying large datasets and optimizing queries for performance.

Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Oozie, Autosys).

Experience with data streaming frameworks like Kafka or Kinesis for real-time data processing.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture

Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.

Exposure to deployment automation, Github, Jenkins, Openshift and monitoring using CI/CD tools.

Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana, AppDynamics.

Experience with shell(Bash) scripting for automation and task management.
