Job Overview

We are seeking a Space Planner responsible for owning space allocation, layout development, and the execution of facility-related projects end-to-end. You will be responsible for leading space planning initiatives across our offices, labs, and manufacturing spaces, ensuring our physical environment scales efficiently with teams, tools, and mission needs.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage space planning projects from concept through completion—including scope, schedule, stakeholders, and delivery
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and security teams to assess requirements and develop smart space solutions
• Generate and manage layouts, floor plans, and space allocation maps using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
• Optimize space utilization across office, lab, and production environments to support team growth, workflow efficiency, and compliance
• Coordinate all aspects of project execution—furniture, infrastructure, IT, signage, move logistics, and vendor oversight
• Partner with leadership to forecast space needs and support strategic decisions related to expansion, site selection, or renovations
• Ensure spaces are compliant with security, safety, and DoD-related regulations (e.g., SCIFs, ITAR, NIST)
• Conduct routine space audits and maintain accurate data for space tracking and reporting
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in space planning and workplace project management, ideally in a tech, manufacturing, or defense-related environment
• Proven track record leading space projects with multiple stakeholders—ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or space planning tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Familiarity with DoD and government contractor facility requirements (e.g., SCIF, ITAR compliance) is a plus
