Beckhoff Automation is seeking a strategic, growth-minded leader to serve as Regional Director for the Southeast. This is a high-impact role with autonomy to shape, develop, and lead a talented commercial team across one of our most dynamic territories. You’ll be responsible for growing revenue, cultivating talent, and building the culture and capabilities of our regional sales and application engineering functions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to coaching and developing others. You will serve as a force multiplier — bringing out the best in your team, aligning them with organizational strategy, and elevating performance in a market rich with opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and lead a high-performing regional team of sales and engineering professionals
- Coach, develop, and mentor team members to maximize individual and collective impact
- Foster a high-accountability, high-trust culture grounded in clear communication, candor, and continuous improvement
- Align team focus and execution with organizational strategy
- Identify talent gaps and lead hiring efforts to strengthen team capabilities
Sales Growth & Strategy
- Drive consultative sales efforts focused on acquiring new customers and expanding key accounts
- Leverage Beckhoff’s differentiated technology portfolio to deliver value-based systems and solutions
- Collaborate with product, industry, and executive leadership to align go-to-market strategy
- Develop relationships with senior decision makers at strategic customer accounts
- Represent Beckhoff at key regional events and drive brand visibility in the region
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Own regional revenue and growth targets
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure results
- Approve non-standard expenses, contribute to pricing decisions, and optimize resource allocation
- Ensure operational excellence across sales, marketing, and customer experience in the region

Travel
This position requires varying travel ranging from 30-50% depending on employee and customer need.
