Job Description
As a member of Select’s Supply Chain Management team, Sourcing Manager is responsible for end-to-end sourcing process, including opportunity identification, RFX process, evaluation, selection of suppliers, contracts negotiation, and management of internal and external relationships to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services to Company’s Capital Projects/Infrastructure team.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with Capital Projects/Infrastructure personnel, BD team, and relevant functions such as SCM, Accounting, Legal, etc.
- Facilitate S2C (source to contract) process for Select’s Infrastructure/Capital Projects purchasing categories.
- RFX preparation, issuance, evaluation, and supplier selection recommendation to relevant teams.
- Conduct or support negotiations with suppliers.
- Contracting activities post RFX award including legal and commercial coverage.
- Drive cost reductions for the Company through use of qualified, managed competition suppliers as endorsed by Capital Projects team and SCM leadership.
- Secure continuity/delivery of goods and services that meet the quality and price performance standards of the Company.
- Collaborate with purchasing personnel to ensure timely and accurate issuance of Purchase Orders against preferred agreements.
- Work with the Supply Chain and other functional teams to implement and enforce polices that increase spend visibility and required compliance (i.e. on-contract spend, AFE’s, pricing catalogs, etc.).
- Other projects as assigned by SCM Director.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred.
- 5 + years of materials/services sourcing experience, preferably in oil and gas (midstream) environment.
- Permian basin sourcing experience is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the S2C process.
- P2P process experience.
- ERP system(s) experience - (D365 experience is a plus).
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to quickly forge internal and external relationships.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new processes within the organization.

Physical Demands and Exposures
- Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
- Must be willing to travel to remote locations and spend considerable time at field locations as required.
- Position works inside a climate-controlled environment a majority of the time.
- Traditional Monday through Friday, 8 – 5 pm, unless operational tempo and requirements dictate otherwise.
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 25 lbs.
