The impact
As a Solutions Consultant at Method Financial, you will play a pivotal role in helping our prospective customers quickly understand the application and value of Method’s products and robust APIs. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to showcase our API solutions, identify and address technical questions, accurately scope/size each deal, design product and payment flow diagrams, and ensure customers can onboard quickly and efficiently. Your expertise in APIs and payments flows, combined with your technical depth, will make you an invaluable partner to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process
- Work with customers to design and architect custom solutions that meet their specific needs using Method Financial’s API platform
- Conduct technical workshops and product demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of Method’s products and APIs
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to address any technical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the fintech and API space
- Provide feedback to the product team on customer needs, pain points, and potential product enhancements
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing collateral to effectively communicate the technical value of our solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and resources to support the onboarding process
- Provide technical expertise to ensure successful integration and implementation of our APIs within the customer’s environment
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience as a customer-facing solutioning role such as a solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer
- Strong knowledge of APIs and their application across varying use-cases (ideally, payments)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for diverse audiences
- Some experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Expertise interfacing with APIs via Postman (or similar) and distilling outputs into a client-facing format
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire prospective customers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can operate independently in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- First-principles thinker always seeking to solve the root of a question rather than the question itself
Extra awesome
- Experience in Financial Services / FinTech and mapping solutions to user/payment flows
- Background in consulting
- Direct exposure to technology providers of consumer lending
- Experience working at a smaller stage company / start-up environment
- Tools: Miro, Retool, Postman - or similar

The annual US base salary range for this role is: $140,000-$180,000.
