Zeren have partnered with the market-leading provider of cloud solutions for temporary staffing and cleaning service providers in Europe and we're looking for a Solutions Architect to join the team, based in Amersfoort.
Your Responsibilities
✔ Modernization and Innovation –Lead the transition from legacy to modern technologies, balancing the preservation of valuable systems with strategic innovation.
✔ Bridge Builder – Ensure optimal collaboration between development teams working on both new and legacy software.
✔ Technical Roadmap – Define the course for modernization, innovation, and integration, aligning both technical and business objectives.
✔ Quality s Best Practices – Elevate our QA processes and ensure a solid software architecture.
✔ Documenting Architecture – Beyond designing architectures, you will document them in visual diagrams and create corresponding documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders.
✔ Technical Point of Contact – Operate in an autonomous role, reporting directly to the CTO, making high-impact decisions for the organization.
What Do You Bring?
⬛ At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on software architecture
⬛ Extensive expertise in .NET and experience with legacy transformations
⬛ Experience with Delphi is a plus for analyzing and migrating older systems
⬛ In-depth knowledge of SaaS applications and cloud technologies
⬛ Strong communication skills – you guide developers in technical decisions rather than enforcing them
⬛ Hands-on approach – not afraid to work on Proof of Concepts (POC) or support developers in complex challenges
⬛ Agile mindset and experience with DevOps
⬛ Higher education degree (HBO/WO) or equivalent working and thinking level
⬛ Fluent in English and Dutch
Technologies and Tools
• Cloud: Preferably Azure
• Back-end: .NET C#, extensive experience with .NET Core and.NET 6+
• Front-end: Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
• Integrations: Extensive experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise system integrations
• DevOps: Setting up and optimizing release pipelines
• Databases: SQL Server, experience with legacy databases and stored procedures
• Testing Strategy: Experience with unit testing,integration testing, and automated testing frameworks
• Security: Knowledge of software security principles and secure coding practices
• Microservices: Event-Driven Architecture: Experience with message brokers such as Azure Service Bus
