Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills to lead a full-scale, end-to-end software development project for a global diagnostics platform. This role is ideal for someone who can not only architect and oversee technical solutions across a complex web ecosystem but also confidently represent the project to executive leadership, acting as a strategic proxy for senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical and architectural lead, overseeing end-to-end software development across front-end, back-end, data, DevOps, and infrastructure.
  • Present key project updates, risks, and solutions to executive leadership and stakeholders, aligning technical goals with business priorities.
  • Provide a holistic, solutions-oriented perspective of the system across multiple layers: UI/UX, microservices, DevOps, data, and infrastructure.
  • Guide teams across multiple regions and availability zones, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with SMEs across UI (Angular), containerization, and cloud services (AWS & Azure) to deliver robust and maintainable systems.
  • Support system internationalization across 70+ countries, ensuring multilingual compatibility and regulatory compliance (FDA and others).
  • Oversee system architecture related to sample tracking and secure data handling in a regulated environment.
  • Lead integration strategy across multiple systems, both internal and external.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience presenting complex technical strategies to executive leadership; capable of acting as the voice of the project at the leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • UI frameworks and front-end principles (Angular, React)
  • Cloud-native architectures (AWS-first with growing Azure adoption)
  • Containerization technologies (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
  • Data structures, database integration, and secure software design
  • Scalable, distributed systems across multiple availability zones
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or international banking.
  • Familiar with internationalization challenges and supporting multi-language environments.
  • Comfortable managing large-scale projects (50+ team members) with a strong grasp of modern software development practices and team leadership.

  • Backend: Java, .NET, Microservices (Flexible)
  • Frontend: Angular (knowledge of React helpful - Flexible)
  • Cloud: AWS (Lambda, EKS, ECS, S3, CloudFormation), Azure
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code
  • Other: Security, Internationalization, FDA-Regulated Standards
