The Solution Architect in Pre-Sales is the in-region expert for the retail solutions portfolio for the company, including both commercial and technical details.
You will:
• Train and support the company direct sales teams and Channel Partners, including value proposition, competitive positioning, sales methodologies, pricing and technical specifications
• Be accountable for sales planning for the region, including producing a monthly rolling plan for prioritized focus end customers for company's direct sales teams and Channel Partners
• Contribute to the sales team in driving revenue by qualifying leads.
• Answer requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) at a detailed and professional level
• Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
• Working with sales managers to drive the pre-sales phase by software & professional services offering and provide product demonstrations – functionality, system architecture, benefits, and others – by interfacing with prospective and current customers and business partners (both at business and technical level)
• Identify, qualify and enable new business partners focused on solution selling
• Identify and support the creation of relevant in-region marketing materials to support company's direct sales teams and Channel Partners in the sales process

• At least 10 years’ experience of successfully defining, developing and selling retail solutions
• Preferably, at least 5 years’ experience with Point of Sale solutions
• In-depth knowledge of general retail technologies, business and operational goals of our target market, to recommend a solution to their needs
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, Enterprise-wide systems
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Preferably degree educated, with a business or technology-focused degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable presentation skills
