Role Summary
The Solutions Architect will play a key role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's network infrastructure. This role emphasizes creating secure, scalable, and efficient network systems while ensuring their ongoing reliability and performance. The individual will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Implementation
Design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure network architectures.
Configure and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Continuously monitor, test, and troubleshoot network systems to ensure stability and performance.
Maintenance and Support
Proactively administer and maintain the network infrastructure for optimized performance.
Monitor availability and performance metrics, implementing necessary updates or repairs.
Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex network issues in partnership with other IT team members.
Security Management
Implement security protocols to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of network systems.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes.
Prepare detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and strategic projects for management review.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with IT colleagues, including systems administrators, security professionals, and developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
Proficiency with network monitoring tools and technologies.
Comprehensive knowledge of security practices and tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
Desired Skills
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in network monitoring and assessment.
Deeper expertise in TCP/IP networking.
