As our Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the overarching solution architecture principles, design, and governance for all product and project development activities. You will be a key collaborator, working closely with our sales team, partners, and engineering teams to ensure our solutions align with our unique selling proposition (USP) and drive successful project execution. This role demands strong technical leadership and a commitment to upholding our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Architect for Product Roadmap and Development:

• Establish and maintain a baseline Solution Design for our platform and guide its continuous evolution in line with the product roadmap.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to make informed trade-offs between architectural design, technical feasibility, and commercial viability.

Establish and Maintain Solution Architecture for Customer Projects:

• Capture comprehensive architecture views of the customer's existing technology landscape.
• Thoroughly document design decisions, constraints, and rationale to provide clear guidance to Tech Leads and engineering teams.
• Lead and facilitate the governance forum for rigorous Solution Architecture reviews.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to delivery teams for issue resolution and best practices.

Support Pre-Sales Activities:

• Partner with the Sales team to strategically shape deals that align with our unique selling proposition.
• Contribute actively to sales workshops and the development of compelling collateral in close coordination with the Sales team.

Provide Technical Leadership:

• Establish and maintain a positive and influential presence, offering valued guidance to technology professionals across the organisation.
• Contribute to the continuous learning and development of delivery teams, enhancing their ability to effectively apply the platform to achieve optimal solution outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in established architectural frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in a solution architecture or a closely related role.
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms.
• Experience with Low Code Application Platforms (LCAP) is highly beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Significant experience in architecting complex legacy transformations and application modernisation programs.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
• Solid knowledge of integration patterns, security best practices, and performance optimisation techniques.
