About The Role

A highly regarded London Market Insurer is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of secure, scalable systems and integrations across their platforms. The role is central to future-proofing architecture, supporting delivery teams, and aligning technical direction with business strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and evolve systems architecture across key business platforms.
• Ensure all designs are secure, scalable, and well-integrated with existing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and the enterprise architect to unblock delivery and manage technical priorities.
• Provide technical oversight across multiple delivery teams.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams and decision logs.
• Review and advise on proposals for new systems or integrations to ensure alignment with architectural strategy.
• Shape and advocate for architectural principles to support long-term busines growth.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, ideally within the London insurance Market.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system integration, scalability, and security.
• Hands-on architectural experience across multiple systems and delivery teams.
• Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate architecture decisions.
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to removing delivery roadblocks.
