Before I finished a degree in Computer Science (my second B.Sc.), I was fortunate to secure a job in the heart of London, on a street called Jockeys Fields, a short walk from Chancery Lane. It was a truly amazing introduction to the tech sector, and I thank God, the management team of TEN and my colleagues. I felt blessed to have worked with TEN, at such a time, for three years.
These days, I work with Globant. An expression comes to mind: plus ça change
. The companies could not be any more different. TEN was located in one building, on one floor, we all spoke English and saw each other every working day. It was a hamlet with about 50 inhabitants. Globant on the other hand has over 29,000 staff in 33 countries, as of today. The two main languages are Spanish and English, but, as one can expect, there are several others spoken in the various offices.
What both companies have in common is a prevailing culture of people-first. I know one should normally liken the youth to the giant, but since I worked with TEN long before I came to Globant. I have to say that Globant reminds me of TEN. You are a person, not just a resource. I get the impression that people care and want to help you to be your best.
If a senior role in solution architect would interest you, have a look at this opportunity. Globant is large but warm, ambitious as well as imaginative; and with great focus on you. Join us and chart your path and set your limits.
