Summary

Day-to-Day:

As a Solution Architect, you will lead the implementation and documentation of solution architecture and standards for enterprise systems and application platforms, involving all aspects of data transport, integration, utilities, and tools used by information technology groups and the business. You will communicate the benefits and advocate the use of enterprise-wide standards, and implementation of platforms, products, and tools to senior management, business area staff, and technical staff.

You will analyze, design, and implement new/improved operational capabilities across the enterprise umbrella. Understanding IT infrastructure as it relates to the business, you will assist with the development and implementation of new applications and services following industry best practices. You will provide technical and architectural guidance to teams across all platforms and infrastructures, promoting adherence to design standards and methodologies.

You will review and ensure major solution designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and cost-effective. Investigating and forecasting market trends, you will define the technical information strategy direction and recommend innovations that anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers, and technology strategy. You will conduct solution architecture studies of new and existing infrastructure, develop tactical plans to address short-term deficiencies in current architecture, and review project plans and technical documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise architecture.


Must Haves:

  • Prior experience as a systems engineer or other system solution architecture role, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Variety of expertise in systems and technologies with the ability to learn and adapt in creating new solutions.
  • Extensive experience with Linux (Redhat) and Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP, TCP/UDP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Experience with system or solution integration involving CISCO, Palo Alto, and load balancing.
  • Proficiency in creating diagrams using Lucidchart or transferable tools.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.

Plusses:

  • Experience with ACI fabric.
  • Understanding of firewall policies and data flow directionality.
  • Military background or experience in less mature environments.
  • Data management skills.
