Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect for a remote, 6-month full-time contractual position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient IT solutions.

As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams to design innovative solutions that meet business requirements and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive technology solutions, ensuring they meet both business and technical requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, understand business goals, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Architecture Documentation: Develop detailed architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and design documents for the implementation of solutions.
• Integration Planning: Ensure seamless integration between various systems and platforms, defining integration approaches and architecture patterns.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions: Provide guidance on cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that best meet business needs and technical constraints.
• Best Practices & Standards: Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the solution's development lifecycle, ensuring the architecture is properly implemented and maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify technical risks and challenges early in the project and proactively work to mitigate them through effective planning and communication.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior architects and technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in designing and delivering complex IT solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using modern technologies and architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud computing, APIs).
• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud architecture best practices.
• Software Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) and experience with system design, coding, and testing.
• Systems Integration: Expertise in integrating complex systems and understanding of integration patterns (e.g., SOA, RESTful services, messaging queues).
• Solution Frameworks: Familiarity with industry-standard solution frameworks, design patterns, and reference architectures.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that add value and align with business goals.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and making high-level decisions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar are highly desirable.
