Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic architect with over 15 years of industry experience in designing & productionizing Java Enterprise Apps & Enterprise Integration Tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE/Spring suite & knowledge of modern web stack to build enterprise applications involving large scale integrations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience: 15+ years of industry experience with recent 3 years of working on productionizing enterprise applications showcasing expertise with Design Patterns using Spring suite.
• Must Have Skills:
• Application Development: In depth knowledge of Java Stack & Spring Suite with experience in design & development of Enterprise Applications.
• Architecture Patterns – Understanding of architecture patterns to design large scale enterprise applications.
• Data Flow – Deep understanding with Data Flow to achieve scalable integrations across multiple platforms.
• Integration Pattern – Architectural understanding of integration patterns.
• Messaging & Streaming Integrations – Understanding of integration with RabbitMQ & Kafka
• APM – Strong concepts of APM for productionizing enterprise applications.
• Security: Familiarity with security best practices for web applications.
• Databases: Good understanding with the design of relational and document-based databases.
• Domain: Understanding/experience of at least one of Healthcare, Insurance or Mortgage Domain.

Good to Have Skills:

• Modern Web Technologies – Basic understanding of modern web stacks like MERN.
• Business Process (BPMN) - Design & Development business processes with in-deep understanding of BPMN/BPMN2 standards.
• JBPM & Drools – Hands-on experience with productionizing business process & rules using JPBM & Drools/DMN engine.
• Apache Camel – Hands-on experience in configuration and deployment of Apache Camel based integrations.
• Version Control: Strong familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
• Agile Methodology: Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Cloud: Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Container & DevOps: Understanding of Docker, K8S and scaling.
• Document Standards: Understanding of EDI or XML standards e.g. 837i, 850 etc.
• AI/ML: Knowledge on traditional AI/ML and Generative AI concepts.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Drive the complete SDLC lifecycle from design, development and deployment of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications with modern Agile practices.
• Lead development with example by owning at least 50% of hands-on development & support activities.
• Conduct working sessions with stakeholders & architects in defining the process, solutions with standard documentation.
• Ensure the process specifications are well tracked/versioned in wiki tools.
• Mentor stakeholders and peers to increase the adaptation of low/no code tools (3rd party and custom built).
• Identify process bottlenecks & recommend solution for process & technical improvements.
• Ensure NFRs (performance, security, compliance) by means of design control and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining performance.
• Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity for ongoing development and maintenance.
• Stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into development processes and ensure adaptation of industry standards.
• Explore & evaluate features in cloud & adapt by means of integration in our platforms analysing cost benefits.
• Conduct design & code reviews to maintain the highest quality standards.
• Mentor team in fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
