Objective

Responsible for the requirements analysis and the analysis of the integration capabilities of the customer's existing or planned systems and facilities. Responsible for the design of the solution and the planning and distribution of the necessary tasks in the team.

Scope of Duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Factory assessments at customer sites, to understand factory layout, carrier transport and storage logistics to develop customized material handling solutions together with customer engineering team.
• Support troubleshooting as well as performance optimization projects for existing automation solutions at customer sites.
• Provide customized 3D solutions for existing products when the need arises .
• Needs to constantly learn about an ever-growing set of technologies and have the creativity to apply these technologies to solve real world problems.
• Internal and external project leadership, planning, and communication during the layout designs in order to get the jobs done.
• Preparation of measurement, testing, and performance reporting documentation.
• Continued communication directly with customers throughout design process.

Requirements:

• BS degree in a mechanical, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering profession.
• 5 Years of demonstrated technical experience in systems requirements gathering.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing automation and technical solutions design.
• Experience in typical wafer Fab KPI’s like cycle time, utilization, capacity.
• Experience in automated material handling system and mobile robotics is a plus.
• Experience in factory layout design using CAD programs as we as 3D modeling experience preferably in the following programs: AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo.
• Good knowledge of Computers, MS Office programs, MMI’s, PLC’s and SW basics.
• Embedded programming experience with C/C++, Java, Python or similar languages. C/C++ preferred.
• Embedded Linux system or similar embedded OS knowledge.
• Experience with TCP/IP and industrial networks
• Strong debugging and system-level thinking across hardware/software boundaries (log files reading, understand analog signals, use of electrical equipment to troubleshoot)
• Nice to haves for development work : Embedded C/C++ background with projects involving system design, SQL basics, ready to dig into an already existing and complex project
• Ability to perform well working independently, reliably, and in team environments is a must.
• Excellent customer service, clear & professional communications as well as quality control skills are a necessity.
• Creativity and the ability to see a problem and think of new ways to solve it.
• Willingness to perform work under clean room conditions.
• Willingness to perform the forementioned activities across remote customer locations.
