GemPool is recruiting on behalf of a leading global ICT solutions provider for a strategic role based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact technical team driving large-scale data centre projects across Europe. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in data centre facility integration and have strong experience managing pre-sales and delivery phases for complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical support in both pre-sales and delivery phases of data centre facility integration projects across the European region.
• Engage in client communication and pre-sales project development, including solution design aligned with customer construction plans, generating technical drawings, creating subcontractor BOQs, and providing pre-sales cost estimates and quotations.
• Establish and maintain a network of subcontractors in local markets, supporting vendor selection, technical validation, and cost evaluation.
• Support the formation of delivery project teams post-contract, coordinating project plans and technical deliverables with clients, third-party designers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Provide on-site technical support and project delivery oversight as needed.

Requirements:

• Uptime ATD certification is a strong advantage.
• Proven expertise in data centre facility integration, including electrical systems, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and related physical components (e.g., MV/LV switchgear, transformers, diesel generators, UPS, chillers, batteries, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (including CXO-level) and data centre professionals.
• Demonstrated capability to manage and control pre-sales opportunities, bid processes, delivery execution, and risk identification.
• In-depth knowledge of European design and construction standards for power and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with data centre energy efficiency regulations and metrics such as PUE, with an ability to advise on related policy and compliance.
• Understanding of international data centre standards such as Uptime Institute Tier levels and EU regulatory requirements.
