Summary

Role: Solution Architect (Junior to Principal level)

Location: Locations; London, Manchester, Cambridge (Royston), Edinburgh, Belfast ( *2 days a week in the office* )

Salary Range: £40,000-£107,000 + Bonus & Travel Allowance


Brief Summary

Annapurna Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading consultancy to find a talented Solution Architect to join their Digital & Data team. This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation projects across multiple sectors, using the latest technologies. The role is UK-based and follows a hybrid working model.


What to Expect

The Solution Architect will be instrumental in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions for complex business and technical challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with engineering teams to set vision and define architectural guardrails.
  • Supporting senior leadership in shaping business cases, including planning and estimating.
  • Creating and assuring key architectural artefacts such as High-Level Designs and Technical Options Papers.
  • Working across architectural domains, with deep expertise in at least one area: Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security.
  • Operating in agile environments and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.


Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A hands-on background in software engineering with experience leading technical teams.
  • A strong understanding of architecture and delivery frameworks.
  • Confidence working across architectural domains, with depth in at least one.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or frameworks like TOGAF or SAFe (desirable but not essential).
