Summary

Solution Advisor – Microsoft Modern Work | PCNation

As a Solution Advisor (SA) at PCNation, you will play a critical role in pre-sales solution design and customer onboarding for Managed Services. This role requires close collaboration with sales and delivery teams to shape strategic sales approaches and ensure smooth transitions for new clients entering our service ecosystem. You will act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and customers—leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft 365 to design and articulate managed services solutions, influence sales cycles, and drive long-term customer value.

Core Responsibilities

Solution Design & Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to define, scope, and prioritize Microsoft 365 managed service opportunities.
  • Analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, technical requirements, and business drivers to shape presales strategies.
  • Present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders across diverse settings including PCNATIONhosted events and partner engagements.
  • Support RFP and RFI responses with highquality technical documentation and solution proposals.
  • Identify crosssell and upsell opportunities, supporting Sales in capturing incremental value.

Customer Transition & Service Alignment

  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new customers into PCNation’s Managed Services by coordinating with delivery teams and facilitating technical knowledge transfer.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales and Delivery to maintain continuity and alignment throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Drive creation of scope of work (SOW) documentation aligned to client infrastructure and service needs.

Thought Leadership & Internal Enablement

  • Educate internal stakeholders through training sessions focused on Microsoft 365 capabilities, technical specifications, sales strategy, and value realization.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining internal documentation, toolkits, and best practice content.
  • Continuously enhance your own technical proficiency across Microsoft 365 and related solution areas.

Areas of Expertise

  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads: Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Defender, and Purview.
  • Familiarity with broader Microsoft solutions: Office Suite, Power BI, and Power Platform.
  • Understanding of hybrid, cloud, and onpremises Microsoft architectures including Azure, Security, and AIbased services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, or related roles.
  • 3+ years in a sales support or technical sales capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the ability to develop actionable service proposals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationshipbuilding skills.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications and industrystandard technical credentials.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 service delivery or implementation projects.
