POSITION OVERVIEW
With guidance, the Solution Manager will be primarily responsible for maintaining close relationships with the market and awareness of market needs. This includes researching and understanding the market and market problems, and customers' willingness to pay for solutions that solve market problems. This position will also ensure the technical development of products/solutions are meeting the needs of the market and solving market problems. This role will support the Dealership Performance solution suite used to uncover, convert, and track daily traffic and sales opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducts market research, assesses market intelligence data and may attend client events, conferences and trade shows to assess and understand client & market needs in order to define market problems and user/buyer profiles that will enhance the current solution and/or result in future solution opportunities.
* Monitors, collects and assesses both competitor and product intelligence data, provides summary of conditions, performs gap analyses and makes recommendations regarding current and potential future solution opportunities.
* Determines the questions to be asked for win/loss analyses and collaborates with internal teams in collecting win/loss data and information.
* Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and are truly solving the problems identified in the market and/or by clients.
* Produces documentation with business requirements, functional requirements and Use Cases for a component of the application for use by the Development team ensuring alignment with Stakeholder needs.
* Translates business perspective into technical perspective, and vice versa, by taking user stories and translating them into requirements.
* Perform routine QA/QC checks and be responsible for health and quality of the products under your management
* Collaborates with Marketing and Solution Lead on the toolkit items used to create materials, flyers, microsites, demos, etc. to assist with solution positioning and market strategy.
* Assists with preparing presentations and effectively presents to internal clients to provide status reports, updates and solution demonstrations.
* Provides solution subject matter expertise in regards to proposals, SOWs, pricing, fees, set-up, sustainment and best practices.
* Maintains informational content for solution on company intranet, including sales and marketing materials, demo site, training information, templates, etc.
* Partners closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the market and solving the problems reflected within the market.
* Responsible for ensuring the solution roadmap is detailed and aligned to corporate strategy and partners closely with the Technical Product Manager to ensure the solution backlog is aligned to the roadmap.
* Partners with solution team in reviewing NPS (client satisfaction) feedback to understand the end user experience and determine improvements/enhancements needed for the solution.
* Collects testimonials from current clients that help show the value of the product/solution to potential future clients.
* Builds and maintains strong and effective internal relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and offices.
* Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
* Works with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* University degree required; degrees in Business, Communications, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Statistics or related field are preferred from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. The ideal candidate will have a mix of education in both Business/Marketing with some technical courses (computer science, statistics, math, engineering). Technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of business and marketing knowledge required for the role.
* 5+ years of industry related work such as dealer, automotive, or product management experience is required
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Internal certification for solution(s) under responsibility is preferred
