Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solutions Architect, located in Bengaluru. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, developing software solutions, integrating various systems, and optimizing business processes. The Solutions Architect will also collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in Healthcare and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations that effectively communicate service offerings, emphasizing Quality Engineering solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, understanding their strategic quality and development needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the company’s revenue and profitability goals.

Technical Consulting & Solution Design

  • Assess client requirements and design comprehensive Quality Engineering strategies, including test automation, performance testing, security testing, and CI/CD integration.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to ensure the feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on software development and quality best practices, aligning with regulatory needs in Healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) and unique manufacturing standards.

Project Oversight & Delivery Coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Oversee the delivery timelines, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, and quality targets.
  • Provide regular project status updates to both customers and internal leadership, proactively managing risks and issues.

Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership

  • Stay current with industry trends in Healthcare (EMR/EHR systems, telemedicine, regulatory compliance) and Manufacturing (Industry 4.0, IoT, supply chain), as well as emerging Quality Engineering techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts; represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other networking events.
  • Contribute to the company’s market positioning through whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and participation in industry forums.

Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Foster strong relationships with internal business units, ensuring transparency and alignment of goals.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Delivery, and Marketing teams to refine offerings and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor junior sales and technical resources, offering guidance on solution selling and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent in Marketing/Technology Management is a plus.
  • 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 3-5 years in a client-facing sales/pre-sales role for software services or solutions.
  • Prior hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, QA automation, or software development.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern development practices (Agile/Scrum).

Sales & Business Acumen

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and building new customer relationships in enterprise settings.
  • Experience creating, negotiating, and closing complex proposals and contracts.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to build trust quickly.
