We're accelerating Kiwibank's Transformation programme and we are looking for a skilled Solution Architect to join our team and help us design and implement effective solutions to support the Bank's strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for providing solution architecture deliverables and guidance, developing solutions to key business initiatives in the following areas:

• Payments Processing
• Integration
• Digital solutions for internal and external customers
• Credit and Debit card systems
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Design and oversee the implementation of complex IT systems and applications, ensuring that they meet the needs of the business and are aligned with Kiwibank's strategic goals.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality solutions that meet Kiwibank's standards.
• Ensure that Kiwibank's IT architecture is robust, scalable and secure, and that it meets industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Key skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
• Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of complex IT systems and applications, especially involving payments and credit/debit card systems
• Good working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, IT strategy, and Roadmap planning
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies preferred
• Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred
