Position Overview: We are looking for an IT OTC Solution Architect responsible for ensuring, driving and providing: Domain Expertise: *
  • possesses in-depth, end-to-end knowledge of the Order to Cash B2C and B2B processes * Strong knowledge of neighboring domains and functions - supply chain / operations, finance & procurement, and how those supporting functions intertwine with order management, invoicing, and cash collection. Collaboration with Business and IT: *
  • Mutually collaborates with both Function Leads and IT professionals * Works together with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and strategic goals. * Engages with IT teams to translate these requirements into technical solutions & roadmaps. Digital Transformation and Data-Driven Approach: *
  • Drives digitalization within the OTC domain * Leverage data and digital technologies, shaping the future state of OTC processes. * Explores innovative ways to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience. Roadmap Development: *
  • Aligns OTC roadmap with the organization's mid- and long-term strategy. * Outlines how OTC processes will evolve, incorporating advancements in technology and data utilization. * Deployment and Project Delivery: * Acts as a design authority in the OTC Portfolio (S/4HANA, SAP CAR, SAP ECC, SAP DRC, HighRadius, etc.) implementation * Collaborates with key users and implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: *
  • Works closely with the Product- and Area Owners during sprint reviews and ceremonies * Identifies value-added innovations (Citizen automation & robotics, AI) and drive continuous improvement * Enhances OTC processes, making them more efficient, compliant, and responsive. Your 'day to day': Engagement with business stakeholders to discuss business pain points, process bottlenecks, and future goals Technical Exploration and Solution Design: * Assess existing systems and explore new technologies. * Support/Work on architectural diagrams to visualize the solution. Project Work: Depending on ongoing projects: * Advise system design and configuration. * Test: Collaborate with testers to validate changes. * Document: Update process documentation. Collaboration with IT Teams: Interaction with IT colleagues: * Development Teams: Providing guidance on code development approach and modularity * Infrastructure Teams: Ensuring middleware/integration layers adoptability and resilience * Security Teams: Addressing data protection and compliance topics Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Support teams where needed, such as: * Investigate: Analyze logs, system behavior, and user feedback. * Perform Root Cause Analysis: Identifie underlying problems. * Resolve: Propose and implements solutions. Continuous Learning and Industry Trends: * Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies: * Read articles, attend webinars, and participate in professional forums. Project Meetings and Progress Tracking: (Participate in project meetings, as needed: * Status Updates: Reporting progress and addressing roadblocks. Coordination: Ensuring alignment across teams. Who we're looking for: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Experience: At least 10 years of overall SAP experience (including multiple full lifecycle implementations) , with several years in solution architecture roles. * SAP CAR & Retail Proficiency: Deep expertise in SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) and its retail components (e.g. Omnichannel Article Availability, OAA) and strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions . * Architecture & Integration: Proven skills in system architecture, solution design, and integrating SAP systems end-to-end. Capable of designing scalable architectures that connect SAP CAR with S/4HANA and other applications (POS, e-commerce, etc.). * SAP SD & Retail Processes: Hands-on experience with SAP SD and retail industry processes, ensuring the SAP solutions align with omnichannel retail operations and best practices in the consumer/retail sector. * UI/UX and Fiori: Understanding of SAP Fiori applications and modern UI/UX design principles for SAP, enabling the architect to guide user-friendly interface development . * Cloud/On-Prem Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP deployment in cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments - able to design solutions for different landscapes and advise on integration across public cloud, private cloud, or on-prem scenarios . * Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Annual Base Salary Range: $123,750-$165,000 What we offer * We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus (applicable based on level of position), great medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k with a generous company match, incredible wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and much more! * We have implemented Smart Work, a hybrid model of working that promotes flexibility in the workplace. * Seize the freedom to define your future and ours.
