About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Telecommunications in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Take a key role in driving success as in this role you will be responsible and accountable for the conceptual and functional design of Hansen OSS solutions for customer implementation. These solutions cross a range of broadband services including Voice, High-Speed Data, Wireless, Video services, and business services.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, understand the tools, methodologies (Agile, DevOps), and processes they use, and assess the strengths of the technology stack. Ensure that the current technologies support both industry best practices and future business needs, while keeping security, compliance, and governance top of mind.
About You
You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience working with external clients in a consulting role, driving requirements capture and documentation using a User Case oriented approach, working in technical and strategic leadership positions, as well as executing on technical development/integration/product implementation projects.
- You are a creative individual with 8+ years of progressive work experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years spent in solutions architecture in the Telecommunications sector (BSS/OSS and provisioning domain).
- You bring familiarity with modern development languages and environments including Javascript, J2EE, Java, Oracle, and UNIX, and are able to work with UML modeling language
- If you have prior consulting experience, sales, sales support, or “sales engineer” experience is helpful.
- You are a strong communicator with matching interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external clients with business-level English verbal and written abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledge and thought leadership in the domain, including understanding the technologies involved in the delivery of broadband services such as VOIP, and how they relate to Hansen products.
- Providing company representation to industry groups and standards bodies such as TMForum, TOGAF, CableLabs, OpenIPTV, 3GPP, and others
- Provide the point of contact with third-party vendors (e.g. billing system vendors, call management server vendors) where interfaces need to be built to these systems assisting in the preparation of RFI/RFP responses.
- Perform root cause analysis for issues experienced in testing and production environments.
- Provide input on features and functionality of Core platform releases, in conjunction with Product Management.
