Job Location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Gurgaon

Mission / Role purpose:

• The Chief Cloud Architect leads the design, implementation, and evolution of comprehensive cloud strategies encompassing platform, security, organizational, and financial considerations. The role emphasizes delivering technical excellence, supporting transformative cloud solutions, and advancing cutting-edge technologies such as Compute as a Service, Edge Compute, and AI-enabled services. The architect collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to address complex business needs, especially in the context of intricate RFP responses.
• Overall accountability & responsibility Cloud Infrastructure Leadership: Develop, design, and lead the implementation of scalable, secure cloud strategies, including Compute as a Service solution for enterprises.
• Compute Services Expertise: Spearheaded initiatives integrating Edge Compute, GPU-accelerated workloads, and hybrid deployment models for AI and data-intensive applications.
• On-Premises Data Center Integration: Architect solutions bridging on-premises infrastructure with cloud ecosystems for seamless workload migration and hybrid operations.
• DevOps and FinOps: Lead teams in applying DevOps best practices for automation and FinOps strategies for cost optimization, ensuring financial governance.
• AI-Driven Solutions: Develop and implement AI-enabled services to enhance operational efficiency, predictive analytics, and business insights.
• Client Engagement: Act as a hands-on technical lead during client engagements, facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholder expectations.
• Standards and Compliance: Define best practices for development, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and manage risks effectively.
• Documentation and Presentations: Prepare white papers, technical documentation, and client presentations, tailored to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Pre & Post-Sales Engagement: Support bid teams with technical qualifications, solution designs, and demonstrations to secure successful outcomes.

Essential role related knowledge, skills, certifications, and experience

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Expertise in Compute as a Service solutions, including provisioning, scaling, and managing compute resources dynamically.

In-depth understanding of Edge Compute architectures, including deployment models for latency-sensitive and distributed applications.

Advanced knowledge of GPU-based compute environments for AI/ML workloads, rendering, and high-performance computing.

Proficiency in designing hybrid architectures integrating on-premises data centers with public and private clouds.

Comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native development, API management, and microservices.

Strong experience in DevOps practices, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Advanced understanding of FinOps principles, enabling cost transparency, allocation, and optimization for multi-cloud environments.

Demonstrated ability to create innovative AI-enabled services tailored to enterprise needs.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for infrastructure automation.

Experience:

15+ years in IT, including 5+ years leading cloud transformation projects.

Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud migration strategies.

Proven track record in managing RFP responses and developing strategic solutions for large enterprises.

Familiarity with IT Service Integration Governance, Risk Management, and Service Delivery Management.

Expertise in SLA/KPI reporting and operational excellence in ITIL environments.

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert).

ITIL 4 Foundation or higher certification.

Specialized certifications in FinOps, AI/ML, or Edge Computing are a plus.

Mandatory Experience

Overall experience of 15 plus of experience in design, implementing, and operating complex Cloud based customer solutions, migrations, integrations and aligning support models as per the new product and technology.

Mandatory Qualification

Bachelors/Masters Of Engineering in Computer Science/ Electronics & Telcom.

Multiple cloud platform certifications

Knowledge and deep understanding of IT Infrastructure Library offerings (ITIL 4)
