Start Date: 1 July 2025

Length: 24 months + 2 x 12 month extensions

Location of work: ACT (Canberra), NSW (Sydney, Newcastle), Queensland (Brisbane), South Australia (Adelaide) or Victoria (Melbourne, Box Hill)

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team at a federal government department in Adelaide. The successful candidate would be working on an enterprise data and analytics program. The program will look to deliver improvements in various channels, improve data visibility, improved automated processing and better utilisation of information.

This program would be suitable for a candidate who has worked in large cloud and data projects before and is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to utilise their skills. The team will align to a scaled agile delivery methodology and would regularly work with other multi-disciplinary teams.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a suitable Solution Architect to further develop their abilities on large-scale data programs.

About You

Architectual Experience: Experience developing application architectural solutions to meet business outcomes

Technical Expertise: Experience in architecting business applications, integrations and pattern-based architecture

Ability to Identify Risk: Experience Identifying application risk areas for optimization

Using Cloud-Based Services: Experience architecting highly available and resilient solutions that take advantage of cloud-based services with multiple availability zones

Developing and Implementing Cloud Patterns: Experience in developing and implementing cloud patterns to ensure compliance, security, and cost management across multi-cloud environments

Reviewing and Costing Solutions: Experience reviewing high level solutions and their impact to the application, including assessing effort required for a solution for rough order of magnitude costings according to a defined cost model

Qualifications: Any relevant cloud, data, solution architecture certifications or relevant tertiary education
