We are hiring a talented Multiskilled Senior resource with Storage (NetApp) / Oracle / MS SQL and Linux/Solaris, Web Server & SSL Management Engineer professional to join our team
Drive data storage infrastructure from “current state to future state” with a focus on data center modernization
Possess a strong ability to understand the customer infrastructure landscape, identify opportunities, and overcome any technical obstacles to meet or exceed customer needs.
SME skills in accessing & designing storage & backup solution for continuous service improvements would be preferred. The positions require the ability to design, develop & implement solutions to modernize the customer environment
Build and maintain data storage portfolio of storage & backup solutions offerings that help the customer achieve transformational business outcomes.
Develop technical artifacts, automation templates, and other customer facing tools that help accelerate adoption of AWS storage services
Define and deliver technical engagements with customers and partners
Extensive hands-on experience in implementation, migration, consolidation & management for multiple storage & backup technologies including EMC VNX, Netapp, VMware vSAN, TSM, Backup Exec, Rubrik etc.
Experience in large scale implementation & migration of multiple database instances – MS SQL & MySQL databases
Plans database upgrades by maintaining, evaluating, and improving a transaction processing model
Assesses database performance by developing a protocol for measurement of results and identification of problem areas.
Supports database performance by monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing and programming problems; designing database management tools; answering user questions.
Support MSSQL/MySQL database replication and clustering
Support Oracle database replication and clustering
Backup and recovery (RMAN and traditional) including AWS backups. Experience in working with AWS S3 for backups
Monitor production databases, performance tuning and backup/recovery process
Troubleshoot database issues; maintain database systems availability
Develop database tools to automate existing database tasks
Create/maintain database related documentation
Experience with database patching & vulnerability troubleshooting & management
Experience in providing assistance in the development of architecture and design of web-based server systems and web server infrastructure server systems
Install, configure, support and maintain web-based server Systems and web server infrastructure components (e.g., DMZ infrastructure servers, secure web servers, middleware, proxy servers, SSL certificates)
Manage web proxy services, including user support, administration, and management
Hands on experience with implementation, migration, modernization & administration of Oracle Solaris operating systems including Solaris zones, ZFS filesystems & LDOMs
Basic network and operating system debugging
Strong knowledge of Solaris servers/zones backup/restore recovery models
Practical Knowledge on Oracle database & Linux operating systems
Preferred experience in designing, implementation & migration of Solaris to public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Excellent knowledge in administration of Windows, Red Hat, Solaris and open source OS.
Vendor Support follow-up and RCA preparation (Windows, Red-HAT, Veritas, Oracle, Dell, HP).
VMware Knowledge to handle VM for resource modification like CPU/Memory/ Disk / system Power down/UP, snap, delete.
Good hands on experience in upgrading Linux / Solaris OS versions to higher version, kernel patching, Server Hardening, RCA preparation while system runs in to problem.
Good knowledge of trouble shooting of system while multiple application is running on system and need to find root cause or problem.
VMware Knowledge to handle VM for resource modification like CPU/Memory/ Disk / system Power down/UP, snap, delete.
Experience in Shell Scripting
Follow change management process for all production changes
Good knowledge and maturity to understand and design the escalation matrix to be followed for customer coordination and follow up.
Experience of hosting and scheduling a meeting and taking care of customer in terms of operational as well as technical perspective.
Provide Level 2, and Level 3 support and Coordinate with the Customer and Third-Party providers to perform Incident and Problem identification and Resolution activities
Monitor and report on the web servers (e.g., inbound and outbound traffic, bandwidth usage, security vulnerability, cyber-attacks, number of web site hits, Availability and response time
