Solar Energy Project Manager Job Summary
This position will support the development of solar projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Solar Energy Project Manager Essential Functions
Responsible for the development of public, educational, commercial, industrial, and other types of solar projects
Responsible for due diligence activities including site origination, site control, project permitting, utility interconnection
Development of long-term relationships with site owners, energy users and other project stakeholders
Effective communication with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate project permitting and other initiatives
Active management of development schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective projects
Fostering support from state, county and local governments, community groups, and abutters
Support of internal finance, engineering, and construction teams to facilitate successful project financing and construction
Participates in long-term strategic planning and project execution plans.
Development of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development efforts
Other duties as assigned
Solar Energy Project Manager education, experience, technical skills & attributes required:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 1 year of experience working in the energy industry
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Helioscope
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.
