My client is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Software Tester to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality standards before release. The Software Tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify issues, document defects, and help maintain software reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects.
• Perform manual and automated testing for functionality, performance, usability, and security.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to confirm that solutions do not introduce new defects.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and industry best practices.
• Participate in requirement analysis to ensure test coverage and accuracy.
• Maintain test environments and ensure accurate test data is available.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Javascript or C#) for test automation is a plus.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Dev Ops, JIRA, or similar.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
