We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing our fleet management software to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with our development team to identify, document, and track software defects, and to ensure that our products meet user requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Design:
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Test Execution:
• Execute manual and automated tests on our fleet management software applications.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the software features and functionalities.
• Provide detailed reports on defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide feedback on user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Automation and Tools:
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Implement automated testing tools and strategies where appropriate.
• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework.

• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing fleet management or logistics software.
• Knowledge of fleet management industry and operations.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
