Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our agile product development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design and execution of comprehensive testing strategies. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using the defect management system.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an agile environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing as needed.
• Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend quality improvements.
• Advocate for quality best practices and testing standards across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software testing methodologies in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of testing tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to understand complex systems and effectively test them.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Experience with defect tracking systems and test management tools.
• Understanding of quality assurance principles and the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of performance and API testing.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced product company.
