Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creatively and efficiently advocating for quality in web-based research software
  • Engaging and collaborating with a cross functional software development life cycle team to ensure high quality, timely product releases
  • Experience with Agile methodologies as well as contributing to Agile ceremonies
  • Developing risk-based test strategies
  • Developing and manually executing test cases
  • Identifying and documenting defects in the software
  • Managing product quality through issue prioritization, test planning, design review, and cross team communication
  • Working closely with engineers and business analysts to improve the quality of our products and related processes
  • Creating and maintaining reusable test assets that facilitate efficient software quality assessments
  • Documenting software testing procedures
  • Deploying and maintaining test environments
  • Leveraging client experience data to improve quality of product and operations
  • Using data to assess quality of product and efficiency of operations
  • Applying various testing techniques such as functional, exploratory, or regression at an appropriate time
  • Familiarity with test and deployment automation concepts
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and proposing solutions
  • Contributing to cross functional process initiatives within the SDLC organization
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative Action concepts
  • Familiarity with quality and operational metrics.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Location

This role is open to candidates working in Bengaluru, Ind (hybrid).

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in testing web applications, databases, and interfaces
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage software testing projects
  • Familiarity with manual and automated test strategies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving with an Agile mindset
  • Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years of software testing experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare and clinical trial industry standards and regulations
  • Methodical and thorough approach to problem troubleshooting and solving
  • Sound interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills


Physical And Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
