We are currently seeking several Software Test Engineers to join our team in Gothenburg, working in close collaboration with a client in Personal Vehicle Development. Positions are available at both junior and senior levels.

Project Overview

The infotainment systems (IHU/DHU/UXC) in scope are based on Google's Android Automotive OS and must successfully pass Google’s xTS certification before being released to customers. While a large portion of the certification tests run automatically through CI, certain tests are designed for manual execution, or require manual re-execution due to CI failures. Your role will be to support and manage all manual test cases across platforms.

Scope of Work

You will play a key role in enabling the certification process by executing and reporting on Google’s xTS test suites across multiple platforms and test configurations via manual testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Flash and configure test units according to Google’s xTS certification requirements.
• Manually execute xTS test suites for each platform release.
• Operate within the client’s established test environments and hardware.
• Report test results via dashboards, Microsoft Teams, and email.
• Track and summarize test metrics, highlighting failures and potential blockers.
• Create JIRA tickets for failed cases and assign them to relevant teams.
• Ensure efficient and timely communication of any blockers or test issues.

Qualifications:

• Required skills: Manual software testing, verification and validation, software debugging
• Meritious skills: CI knowledge, xTS certification (execution and documentation), infotainment experience, automotive testing, test automation (python), Google Test
