DEKA is seeking a Software Test Engineer to develop automated and manual tests for innovative medical devices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with software engineers and software test engineers to implement test software and test infrastructure for medical device software. How you will make an impact as a Software Test Engineer: Understanding of real-time operating systems Developing and documenting automated and manual test cases for software requirements Developing unit tests Running and approving test procedures Providing input for defining software requirements Attending code reviews for both production code and test code Co-developing test infrastructure to communicate with the device and software-under-test Analyzing code coverage metrics and updating tests to achieve additional coverage Skills you will need to be successful: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience with C/C++ and Python 2+ years of experience in software engineering Must be comfortable in a structured development and test environment that requires as much documentation as coding Must have good analytical skills and be able to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
