A Software Support Analyst performs various tasks to assist both customers, system analysts and software developers, providing assistance, solutions, documentations, identifying root cause of any software issues. They work with system analysts and software developers to test software and ensure user requirements are met.

Work Schedule - Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Office Location - DMG Center, Domingo M. Guevara St. Brgy. Mauway Mandaluyong City

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.

At least a year of experience in the Software Support Analyst industry.

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Self-motivated

Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented

Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Ability to learn new applications and system features quickly

Dedicated to the best possible customer experience and takes initiative toward improving it

Ability to articulate technical and functional concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Has good communication skills in English, both oral and written

knowledgeable in MS Visio

Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of management

Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Job Description

1st level of support after deployment of the System.

Analyze software-related issues and propose solutions

Identify completeness of application/solution and facilitate UAT

Fix software problems, and tests, and provide solutions before implementation

Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing work instructions, and support; training users

Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Logs customer feedback for process improvement

Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation

Document software support activities thoroughly, accurately, and on time

Review work log, and customer feedback periodically with the supervisor and other analysts and technicians, to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
