About My Client

My client has an excellent opportunity for a Manual QA Engineer in Cork City. In this role you will work closely with the Test lead to define a strategy for multiple programmes and projects. You will design and develop test scripts while also executing and maintaining these test scripts.

This opportunity is with a leading provider of Fintech management solutions for financial institutions. Our client’s system was created by ALM practitioners with a focus on simplicity and quick calculations. It's currently gaining significant traction in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create test scripts prioritizing functionality for regression testing, while also executing and maintaining these test scripts.
• Develop automation test scripts in according to the plan and maintain them throughout the product lifecycle.
• SQL
• Collaborate with the Test Team Lead to formulate a strategy for new systems and solutions entering the market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a software testing role and a degree in a computing related discipline.
• Ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment while being able to read a functionality test.
