Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that our web-based software applications meet functional, performance, and usability requirements.
• Identify and report defects, issues, and risks to the development team and work with them to resolve these in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and maintain quality standards, processes, and procedures.
• Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and adopting new technologies and tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in web software quality assurance, preferably in an agile software development environment.
• Experience of agile methodologies: such as Scrum and Kanban,
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing of web-based software applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Appium.
• Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and testing tools / frameworks: such as Selenium, JMeter, and Appium.
• Familiarity with test management tools: QA test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, and qTest, and be able to use them to manage test cases, test runs, and defects.
• Experience with performance testing: QA professionals should have experience with performance testing tools and high user loads and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Understanding & experience in security testing is a plus.
