JOB SUMMARY We are looking to hire a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Co-Op, which is a full-time position (40 hours per week), reporting to our corporate headquarters in Marlborough, MA. Specifically, Doble Engineering Co-Ops will have the opportunity to be a part of teams that help shape how software products are defined, designed, implemented, qualified, and delivered. Doble is committed to working with its Co-Ops to find the right fit for their skill set as well as personal aspirations. The duration of this position will be a minimum of 6 months, full-time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday. This position will report to the Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * The essential qualities of what will make a Doble Co-Op successful are their desire to grow, aptitude to learn, and ability to apply. * This Co-Op will be joining our Software Quality Assurance team and working alongside our Engineers. We are seeking a Co-Op with an interest in Computer Science or Software Engineering. * Perform System Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing * Publish tests and test results using a TCM (TestRail) * Defect Tracking / Reporting / Fix verification * Automate testing in Playwright, Selenium and UFT frameworks * Collaborate with developers and SQA team in automation development * Co-Ops will leverage their Linux and scripting skills to grow our automated testing capabilities and coverage Applicable Skill Sets: * Familiarity with UI testing using Selenium, QTP/UFT, PlayWright or similar tools * Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar tools * Ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral communications * Expertise in one or more scripting languages such as TCL, Python and Perl * Strong interpersonal skills QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: * Must be pursuing a degree(s) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * Motivated self-starter with an aptitude for learning new skills and environments quickly while multi-tasking * Ability to spot problematic areas, analyze solutions, propose resolutions, and direct their implementation is essential * Candidates should have a technical background * Strong written and oral communication skills * Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.
