Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Quality Analyst with a hands-on mindset and a strong understanding of CSI/Syteline ERP systems to join our team during an exciting ERP upgrade and replatforming initiative. In this role, you will take full ownership of testing activities—helping identify issues before they reach production, collaborating with users across different sites, and developing structured testing processes from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute all quality assurance and testing responsibilities related to our ERP (CSI/Syteline) system.
  • Collaborate daily with on-site users to understand different workflows and ensure all functional modules are thoroughly tested.
  • Develop use case documentation, track bugs and test results, and support automation efforts where appropriate.
  • Test key functional modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to support testing, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Help create and maintain version control practices during the replatforming initiative.
  • Support long-term system reliability by ensuring upgrades and modifications are released only after comprehensive testing.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while staying aligned with team and company goals.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or ERP testing.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with CSI/Syteline ERP.
  • Strong functional understanding of at least two ERP system modules (e.g., Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory).
  • Experience with test documentation, ticket tracking, and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test support.
  • Demonstrated longevity in roles (minimum 2 years per position).

Nice to Haves

  • Deep functional knowledge of CSI/Syteline, including end-to-end transactional flows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with version control tools and structured testing suites.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, unstructured environment—able to build as you go.
  • Grit, independence, and comfort with the unknown—someone who thrives in an old-school, roll-up-your-sleeves setting.
