We’re looking for a Software QA Test Automation Engineer to join our mission-driven team and ensure the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of our AI-powered platform. 

Role Overview 

As a QA Test Automation Engineer at Azra AI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cloud-native applications and AI services. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across our web platform, APIs, and backend systems. Your work will help deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance software that supports healthcare providers and improves patient outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks for frontend, backend, and API testing. 
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to define acceptance criteria and test plans for new features and releases. 
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira). 
• Implement continuous integration and automated testing pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD). 
• Perform performance, regression, and load testing on key system components. 
• Contribute to release management by validating builds and participating in go/no-go decisions. 
• Ensure QA best practices and advocate for quality throughout the SDLC. 
• Maintain test documentation and support audits or validation processes related to healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.). 

Requirements 

Must-Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on test automation. 
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman). 
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and web-based applications. 
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or another modern scripting language. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Jira and Confluence. 
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills. 
• Passion for improving healthcare and making an impact. 

Nice-to-Have: 

• Experience in healthcare tech, especially in oncology, radiology, or pathology. 
• Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform). 
• Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG testing. 
• Exposure to data-driven or AI-based applications. 

Qualification: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
