Job: Software Project Manager

Location: Malta (Hybrid)

Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 + Benefits

Job Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Plan and outline software project blueprints, including defining project scope, resource allocation, setting deadlines, creating communication strategies, and outlining testing and maintenance processes.
• Define and determine project objectives and scope.
• Assess and forecast the necessary resources to achieve project goals, managing them efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee vendor and supplier contracts, assigning tasks, and managing deliverables and communication.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and lead the project team.
• Create and monitor the project budget, ensuring adherence.
• Ensure consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of products at all stages of development.
• Deliver completed software products to clients and conduct regular product performance checks.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience in managing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proficient in using Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Proven project management experience, with additional background in databases and software development being a plus
• Excellent technical knowledge.
