Software Integration & Test Engineer

(ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE AT MINIMUM REQUIRED PRIOR TO START - WILL BE VERIFIED)

Location: Aurora, CO | On-site | 12-month contract with option to extend or convert

Clearance: Active TS/SCI (or transferable Top Secret) required

Pay: 135-140k - full benefits (Negotiable)

About the Role

Join a small, highly focused team developing and maintaining signal processing applications for real-time operational environments. You’ll collaborate across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. Our team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique, evolving mission needs, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and agility.

Responsibilities

• Test, deploy, and maintain advanced signal processing software.
• Build and maintain test automation pipelines using Bash and Python.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leadership in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What You Will Learn

• Modern DevSecOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) techniques.
• Software lifecycle practices for defense and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python software development.
• Experience with software integration and test automation.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (or active Top Secret clearance eligible for TS/SCI crossover) required prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with GitLab pipelines, Pytest, Gotest, and Google Test.
• Experience developing software acceptance criteria.
• Experience using the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Experience with Go software development.
