My client are a fast growing, innovative software business with a unique set of tools for the online retail market are looking to recruit a Software Implementation Consultant to help their clients adopt and implement their software. This job opportunity will suit a candidate who enjoys working with clients and interfacing with customers.

This role is fully remote working, and will be paying up to £50k with additional benefits and bonuses.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leading functional implementations of their software platform and tools and systems for their customers. This includes activities such as: running workshops, capturing requirements, configuring the software based on gathered requirements, testing support, training customers, software activation, and post go-live stabilisation.

Your objective is to provide quality deliverables, to budget, while working with Technical Services, Product team, Customer Success, and implementation partners. You will play a crucial role in interacting with their internal departments to have them understand their customer needs and assist in improving their internal processes and products.

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful adoption and exploitation of the Software platform
  • Provide domain knowledge and expertise to support the sales team
  • Gather and document functional requirements
  • Provide functional consultancy on platform features aligned to customer’s business needs
  • Carry out software configuration in line with requirements
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks for Software Implementations
  • Carry out Services work for customers or support our partners in providing Services work for customers
  • Improve, develop and share best practices with team members
  • Work closely with Support, Technical Services, Development and Products teams
  • Think strategically about the long-term impact of solutions on the customer environment, resources and ability to be successful
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the team

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of SaaS software or Enterprise business applications with experience of implementation phases of delivery
  • Client workshop and training facilitation experience
  • Technical ability to manage the configuration of complex business processes
  • Ability to embrace change, new challenges and learning
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce is desirable
  • Knowledge of Xero or other cloud accounting applications is desirable
  • Knowledge and appreciation of cloud-based technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage effectively
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and a good team player
  • Passion for consultancy and customer service
  • High sense of operational excellence, disciplined working and effective time management
  • Ability to accept and deliver feedback
