To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new "Software Engineering Team Lead"


Job purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Frontend Developer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences while staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend developers, and product managers) to define and implement innovative frontend solutions.
  • Oversee the development of responsive, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain optimal performance and scalability.
  • Manage project timelines, allocate tasks effectively, and facilitate clear communication within the team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role, with strong team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
