Job Title: Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled hands-on Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems, EPICOR is the ERP, and a solid background in hands on Applications Development and Application Modernization Project Management.
This role involves overseeing a small team for the modernization of legacy ASP applications, so experience with application conversion and modernization is necessary.
The position is based in the Beamont, Texas, with the occasional need to travel to other company offices in Southeast Texas
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the company’s enterprise applications, with a primary focus on the EPICOR ERP system.
Lead the conversion of legacy ASP applications to modern technologies.
Develop and implement project plans for application upgrades and migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends related to enterprise applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven expertise in enterprise applications modernization (e.g., ASP to modern platforms).
Advanced hands-on experience with SQL programming.
Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, JScript, JavaScript
Expert knowledge of GIT version control.
Experience with ERP systems; prior experience with EPICOR is a plus but not required.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to company offices in the Southeast Houston area and surrounding regions as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
Certifications in project management or ERP systems

Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried position
Location: Beaumont, Texas 77701
Office: Onsite required 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) at Beaumont or a satellite office; remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Travel: Up to 20% travel to satellite offices such as LaPorte and Baytown.
